Clare Richey is a Costume Technician. She has a BFA in Theatrical Costume Construction from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is a current MFA Costume Production Candidate at Penn State University. She has experience in couture stitching techniques, flat patterning, draping, drafting, millinery, tailoring, as well as theatrical makeup, and wigs. Her professional experience includes educational shop management at Northern Illinois university, various positions at American Players Theater, Utah Shakespeare, and at The Joffrey in Chicago.

She continues to enjoy the variety and challenge that theatrical costumes bring. And prides herself on bringing a positive attitude and devotion to learning to each new project.
